One of the best identified kinds of red wine is the Zinfandel. The Zinfandel variety of red grape is native in California and celebrated for its fruity taste with touches of smell of raspberry. It is grown in warm locations and in bunches. This sort ripens early; still, inconsistent pattern in aging takes place. This is one disadvantage because the reaping will be one at a time instead of a single harvest for the whole batch. Also, because it grows in a tight bunch, there are instances that it gives in to waste. One trait also of this Zinfandel wine is being “hot” in the palate because of its strong alcoholic content but it was now tamed by winemakers using new innovations. Zinfandel has this unique characteristic also that kept its terrior or the feature that it inherits due to the geography where it is growned and the winemakers own unique style in manufacturing.
